New Solo Album: Genevieve Goings

Genevieve Goings, star of Disney Junior's hit TV show Choo Choo Soul, is releasing her first solo album this June. The album, titled Do You Know? will be out on June 3rd, but the first single was released this week!

My Telephone Number Is is a fun song that teaches our little ones a fun way to memorize their phone number(s). Geared towards children aged 2-7, Goings has an entertaining beat running to encourage kids to sing along with their own phone numbers. I can guarantee that my own daughter will be singing the "doo doo doo" part instead for a bit. It's really catchy. And if I'm being honest ... it's kind of been running through my head since early this morning. But no matter - that's what a great kids' song does to a parent! * Let it go, anyone? * 

I have not been lucky enough to meet Genevieve yet, but several of my friends have (at a variety of blog conference events). And I'm pleased to report that word on the street says she's as genuine as she seems. A down to earth and real person? Entertaining our children? Sign me up!
