Does that matter?
Should I opt for a Wordless Wednesday shot and just leave it at that?
It's almost Wednesday.
It's Tuesday night.
NaBloPoMo night.
I'm tired ... exhausted ... drained ...
I don't wanna!!!
You can't make me!!!
It was Veteran's Day today, and I offered thanks to those who serve now and have served.
It's never enough, those two little words.
But I say them anyway.
If you're looking for a way to support the men and women of our military on a daily basis, consider reaching out to your local USO. You can make a monetary contribution, you can volunteer your time, you can even reach out about dropping off goodies to your local USO office during the holidays.
Important work to be done.
I suppose I did have something to say after all. Something of great importance.
Something to be said ... here in the land of the free ... and the home of the brave.
Many people don't understand what saying the words "thank you" can accomplish. Thank you for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Short, honest and wonderful. So YOU!
ReplyDeleteSometimes just saying "thank you" is more than enough, more than they get otherwise. I know my family always appreciates it.
ReplyDeleteThank You are two very powerful words. It let's them know that you recognize what them, their sacrifice. I love your suggestion about the local USO office though. I never would have thought of that.
