Where did you go?
The only reason I know this is because I gained two new followers yesterday, and this AM I was at 42 (welcome, new friends!) And then I just came back on to send a message to someone, and saw that I was back down to 41, and I can't figure out who it is (someone without a profile pic/image, I think ... but maybe not?)Sigh ... I'm so sad!
Come back! Come back!
Just the other day I decided to stop obsessing over that aspect of blogging, seriously. And suddenly I gained some followers. And I hit 40! I was so excited. And between yesterday and today, I tried to say, OK, I'll get to 50 eventually. No pushing myself on anyone, just continue to be me, ya know? And so ... here I am. Minus one this afternoon. Ah, well -- some days you win some, some days you lose some!
Hope the rest of you stick around, I really enjoy having you peeps peeking in on me and chatting.
(Adding, I think I figured it out, and I hope it's just a weird quirky thing that happened. Come back to me! I miss you already! And I have to say I'm glad I figured it out, because I would have felt horrible had I not been able to find out who was missing!)
There are many different reasons why someone follow/unfollows. I too was quite bored at one stage but I now treat it as a number game which doesn't really have much effect on the popularity and growth of my site.
ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh... I would have completely OBSESSED about who it was, how come they didn't like me anymore... blah, blah, blah. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought about giving up on the blog a while back, but then I thought, NO WAY I'm having too much fun. Met the most amazing women!
And look, now I found you as well.
Thanks for the late night giggle. I hope they come back to you... they are defiately missing out on a great blog, and a great lady!
